Is PLANKA free?
The Community edition can be self-hosted for free under a Fair Use License. For advanced features, professional support and scalability, choose PLANKA Pro or Enterprise.
What is the difference between Pro and Enterprise?
Pro delivers advanced features and professional support for growing teams. Enterprise adds tailored solutions, dedicated support with custom SLAs and maximum scalability for large organizations (from 500 users hosted, 1,000 self-hosted).
Can I migrate my existing boards to PLANKA?
Yes, PLANKA includes an import feature. Currently you can import boards from Trello.
What are Guest Users?
Guest Users are a Pro feature that works similar to users in a ticket system. They have limited access: they can view assigned cards and add comments (if allowed), but cannot edit cards. Various elements can be hidden from guests for privacy. Each Pro user includes a quota of guest users.
What about GDPR and data privacy?
PLANKA can be fully hosted on your own infrastructure – your data never leaves your servers. For hosted plans, our servers are located in Germany and fully GDPR compliant.
Can I move an existing self-hosted PLANKA to Pro?
Yes! With PLANKA Pro Self-Hosted, you can move your existing self-hosted PLANKA installation to Pro without any data loss. All your boards, cards, and users are preserved during the process.
